The American Association for the Advancement of Science, which publishes
the journal Science, plans to launch a peer-reviewed journal that is distributed
by electronic mail.

The journal, called the Online Journal of Clinical Trials, will begin
publication in April 1992 and a subscription will cost $110. Subscribers
will need an IBM-compatible computer with VGA graphics and Microsoft Windows
3.0 software. They will dial into a commercial electronic mail network to
receive the articles, which will be distributed as soon as they are approved
for publication.
