Review : Pulling them in

Black hole fever has gripped the nation. Here’s more—Black Holes by
Heather Couper and Nigel Henbest (Dorling Kindersley, £9.99, ISBN 0 7513
5371 X). This is packed with bite-sized facts about everything from how black
holes form to general relativity, wormholes and quasars. It’s not clear exactly
who it’s pitched at, though. The design suggests the young children’s market,
while the text seems aimed at an older readership.
