Beginners (Icon Books, £8.99, ISBN 1 874166 44 7) is one of a
large series
covering philosophers, religious founders and other influential thinkers.
With a
straightforward text by Lloyd Spencer, and illustrations by Andrzej
Krauze, this
one is fairly easy to follow and quite useful for context.
