Review : Moral maze

Chris Garratt’s cartoons in Ethics for Beginners (Icon, £8.99, ISBN 1
874166 40 4) illustrate a basic, but thorough, text by David Robinson that
covers the major ethical philosophers and such present-day issues as euthanasia
and animal rights. But the book would have benefited greatly from an index, or
even a contents page.
