Review : Natural touch

Pet the animals in Bouncy Lamb, a beautiful cloth book for young children by
Caroline Church (Ladybird Books, £5.99, ISBN 0 7214 4810 0). Touch and
feel lamb’s fluffy coat and then meet “hungry horse” with a tail of knitting
wool, “noisy dog” with a felt ear that crackles, and “curly snail” with a lovely
spiral shell. Tactile, informative fun.
