391 03982 2) is a pleasure to read, with many fresh insights, particularly on
the close relationship between science and religion in his life. In nontechnical
language, Geoffrey Cantor, David Gooding and Frank James describe his important
experimental discoveries in chemistry and electromagnetism, as well as his
contributions to scientific theory and influence on engineering. Highly
recommended.
