If you want to get healthy, don’t go it alone. A survey of 1204 couples has
found that people who attempt to adopt a healthy lifestyle are more successful
if their partners do the same. “People are more likely to quit smoking, lower
their cholesterol and lose weight if both partners follow the advice,” says
Stephen Pyke of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, whose team
reports in Archives of Family Medicine (vol 6, p 354).
