can be found on the Web pages of the Royal Botanic Gardens at Kew
(http://www.rbgkew.org.uk).
Eventually you will even be able to search an index to the
DNA samples held by Kew. If you fancy trying a bit of DIY cloning—of
plants—you can find helpful advice on the pages of the horticultural
science group at the University of New England

The tools you use must be sterile, so you will need a 70
per cent solution of ethanol—which is a bit too strong for a consolation
tipple if the cuttings fail to take.
