Three lawsuits have been filed against the maker of the RealJukebox music
player on behalf of its users after a report revealed the company collected
information on the music played over the Net by users of its software. Lawyers
in Philadelphia, Chicago and Orange County, California, accuse RealNetworks of
Seattle of invading consumer privacy.

Richard Smith, a computer security expert, found that the RealJukebox program
reported back to the company with the names of CD tracks and audio files it
played, along with a number unique to each program.
