A wily computer mouse that locks out unauthorised users has been developed by
CompuLink Research of Florida (www.clrusa.com). The mouse reads your
thumbprint and checks it against a list of approved users so that only
authorised operators can work the PC. The $100 U-Match mouse, which goes
on sale in January in the US, has a window in the side where the thumb rests. It
scans your thumbprint and checks the match each time the PC is left unused for a
minute or so.
