Britain’s Consumers’ Association is to run further tests on the microwave
output of hands-free sets for cellphones, following its controversial tests on
two phones in April. The CA found that hands-free units did not reduce radiation
reaching the ear and brain

But separate tests by New Scientist and the cellphone networks Vodafone and
One-2-One have found the opposite. The CA’s new tests will look at six makes of
