Get ready for toddlers racing around in customised buggies pumping out the
latest tunes. Joseph Tihngang of Reading, Berkshire, wants to bring music to
infants on the move, but without the need for expensive batteries. He has
designed a buggy with a bicycle-style generator fitted to one of the wheels
(GB 2 345 596). This powers a cassette deck or CD player. All the parent has to do
is push a little harder. “This way everyone is kept happy, parents and children
