Forget the hassle of publishing your research in print. Life scientists can
now send papers direct for publication on the Web. The company behind
TheScientificWorld.com, which was launched this week, plans to make money by
selling reprints of the articles it publishes. Its founder, Eric Tomlinson,
claims that all submissions “will receive prompt review by renowned editors”.
What’s more, he says that publications can include video, audio and
animations.
