A clone of Mandy, a prize dairy cow, was auctioned to farmers last Friday at
the World Dairy Expo in Madison, Wisconsin. This is the first time a clone has
been offered for sale and it fetched $82,000, seven times the price of
Mandy’s normal calves. Biotech company Infigen is so sure of its technique that
the clone has not even been created yet. Mandy will be cloned in December and
