British teenagers desperate to join the mobile phone craze may find something
extra in their stockings this Christmas. The Department of Health is asking
retailers to distribute a leaflet with all new cellphones advising parents to
discourage their children from using the devices. The leaflet is expected to
reflect the recommendations of the Stewart report, published earlier this year,
urging parents to make an “informed choice” about how much talk time is safe
