Rocket fizzles out

Japan’s struggling space programme hit another setback last week when the
maiden launch of its newest heavy rocket, the H-2A, was postponed because of
leaking hydrogen fuel and other problems. H-2A’s launch had already been delayed
for a year after a series of failures led to its predecessor, the H-2,
being scrapped. The new problems will put the launch back a further six
months.
