ASIAN people can trace their roots to Africa, say geneticists, quashing
theories that modern humans are descended from a mixture of regional
populations.

Most scientists believe that modern humans originated in Africa about 100,000
years ago. But some think that a series of early humanoid fossils from Asia show
that local communities could have contributed to the modern gene pool. So Li Jin
