Don’t be surprised if you see Net surfers paying homage to a strange flashing
pyramid. Japanese firm Futitsu has built this “concept product” to save surfers
the hassle of using a PC. The pyramid scans Web pages and its voice synthesiser
reads out content. You can fast-forward and rewind, browsing e-books, music or
news sites at your own pace, while a voice-recognition system allows you to
mutter URLs or issue search commands.
