A LOT of people are naive about creationists. They regard them as small-town Bible literalists who believe the Earth is just a few thousand years old and that dinosaur bones in museums were deposited during Noah’s flood. Old-style creationists of this sort certainly exist, but in recent years their influence has been eclipsed by a more sophisticated breed who preach not Genesis but “intelligent design”.
