TEXTILE experts at Cornell University have tested out the best ways to remove 250 kinds of stains, from antiperspirant to whisky, using everyday products found in grocery stores or pharmacies.

Banana oil will help get rid of white shoe polish or grass stains. After a close encounter with tree sap, you should reach for the turpentine. Unfortunately, acne cream, plant food and old urine are just some of the stubborn stains that still get the better of modern science.
