Fertility restored

A woman made sterile by chemotherapy gave birth on Thursday. She conceived naturally after receiving an implant of her own ovarian tissue that had been frozen before the cancer treatment (New Scientist, 3 July, p 4). The approach could help thousands of women who face infertility because of the toxicity of some cancer treatments.

Websites blocked
