We have lift-off

Brazil sent an unmanned rocket into space for the first time on 23 October, from its Alcantara Launch Center. This follows three failed attempts, including a disaster last year in which 21 people died. A question mark hangs over the latest rocket’s commercial viability, as it can only carry a 400-kilogram payload to an altitude of 250 kilometres.
