Um, er… Hawking?

An astounding 78 per cent of British people cannot name a single living scientist, suggests a telephone survey of 1090 adults by the Royal Institution of Great Britain. More women than men were foxed by the question. Of the scientists people could remember, Stephen Hawking was the clear winner.
