Mark Baldwin was born in Fiji and danced with the Royal New Zealand Ballet before moving to the UK, where he developed his choreography skills. He has been artistic director at the Rambert Dance Company in London since 2002. Ray Rivers is professor of theoretical physics at Imperial College London, where he investigates phase changes in the early universe by studying solids and liquids. He is also a fan of contemporary dance and has acted as science adviser to Rambert for their newest work, Constant Speed
