A pocket-sized digital TV decoder that can also be used as a mobile television has been developed by French electronics firm Thomson. The 11-centimetre LCD TV works with the OFDM broadcast system used for terrestrial digital TV, rather than the DVB-H system being developed for cellphones. It has two antennas feeding two tuners which continually analyse the thousands OFDM channels and pick the strongest.
