Time will soon be getting under your skin. Philippe Starck, the iconic French designer, is developing an implantable digital watch. “You will be able to read the time through your skin, but the implantable watch will do much more than tell the time,” Starck told New Scientist. He is not saying what those other functions are, but it is likely your pulse rate will be visible. The implant should go on sale in two years.
