The China National Nuclear Corporation announced on Sunday that it intends to build 28 new nuclear power stations over the next 14 years. The Xinhua news agency reported the plans to increase the generating capacity of nuclear power stations to 40 gigawatts, 4 per cent of the nation’s total, by 2020.
