Science truth, found in fiction

THERE is something ruthless about science, beautifully ruthless. Nature doesn’t care what we believe, who’s asking, or what stories we hope to tell. Did the universe have a beginning? Is space-time infinite? The answers are the same for me, for you, or for any sentient beings on the other side of the cosmos. Frankly, I love the ruthlessness of science. It is at the core of the subject’s humility and trustworthiness. I want to know what is true and I don’t want to be placated with fictions.
