Biometric cameras could ensure no one passes off your snaps as their own. Canon has patented the idea of a camera that scans a photographer’s iris when they look into the camera’s lens, embedding the scan as an invisible digital watermark into snapped images. Canon’s first biometric model will be able to memorise five users’ iris patterns – and subsequently identify who took which pictures in an instant.
