Intelligence can be improved with training

CAN mental training actually improve intelligence? It had been assumed that intelligence is largely immutable, and no video game or puzzle has convincingly proved capable of altering it. Now a task has been discovered that boosts “fluid intelligence” – the ability to reason and solve general problems. What’s more, the harder you train, the greater the gain.
