Post-traumatic support
The US Veterans Affairs department published new rules on Monday that will give financial support to veterans seeking treatment for post-traumatic stress disorder. Veterans will be allowed to claim if a doctor confirms their symptoms and supports a diagnosis of PTSD.
Asteroid fly-by
The European Space Agency’s Rosetta spacecraft captured its first close-up images of the asteroid Lutetia on 10 July. The hope is that the images will help astronomers classify the rock.
