Josh Smalley is an organic chemistry researcher and science communicator based at the University of Leicester. He also happens to be an outstanding baker and reached the final of the 14th series of The Great British Bake Off. Being equally accomplished in the laboratory and the kitchen, Josh founded the Science Kitchen at the University of Leicester, where he infuses his culinary creations with a unique understanding of the science and molecular make-up of the bakes he showcases. This work is delivered in a variety of formats, from in-person workshops and webinars, to written articles, social media content and external live shows.
