Rachel Berkowitz

Rachel Berkowitz is a science writer and editor focused on physics and the physical sciences. She is currently a Corresponding Editor at the American Physical Society’s Physics Magazine and was formerly a Contributing Editor at Physics Today and Senior Communications Specialist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory’s Materials Sciences Division. As a freelance writer since 2013, her work has been published in Scientific American, Science News, Nature, The Scientist, Physics World, Photonics Focus, Berkeley Lab’s News Center, and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory’s Molecular Bond newsletter.
