Geoff McNamara writes about how frequently books on pseudoscience appear on
the popular science shelves of bookshops (Letters, 8 May, p 54). By way of
contrast, when browsing the travel books in my local branch of Waterstones
recently, I came across Richard Dawkins’s River Out Of Eden among the
Middle East travel guides.
