Letter: Ancient Greeks did have the blues

Materials scientist David Dobson seems to be struggling to create a new blue pigment. Why does he not simply make Egyptian blue? Many researchers believe it is calcium copper tetrasilicate, and give syntheses (Journal of Cultural Heritage, doi.org/bg64zk).
